Illustrated Lecture: "Wedded Perfection; Two Centuries of Wedding Gowns"

Wedding enthusiasts, on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 8:00pm (7:15pm for mini-exhibit and reception) The American Decorative Arts Forum, (adafca.org) an affiliate of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, presents at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco, a lecture by Cynthia Amneus, noted author and costume and textiles curator at the Cincinnati Museum of Art. The approximate one hour lecture and beautifully illustrated slides examine the compelling allure of the wedding dress over two centuries and its iconic stature.     Hi: we were not advertising to sell a product, we are a non-profit organization affiliated with a museum, wanting to alert people interested in this topic of our upcoming illustrated lecture on wedding gowns. All members of the public are welcome to attend; there is an entry fee of $15 for each lecture. We are the American Decorative Arts Forum of Northern California so mostly our lectures are on furniture and decorative items from various periods in history. This month's lecture is outside of our normal range so we were trying to get the word out to people who may want to know about the history of wedding gowns. Of course we want to follow the rules; if the Board administrator wants to remove my posting that is fine; no problems with that. If you have suggestions or recommendations for alerting interested folks, please let me know. R.

    You should actually read the Terms of Service you agreed to when you made your account.  Advertising is prohibited. Period. Even when you are advertising your free services. Once again, you are reported.
