Inexpensive Outdoor Venue in Austin

My fiance and I have just started to look for wedding venues for our wedding in March 2012. We would love to have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor or covered area for the reception. We are on a tight budget and would love to be able to do the whole thing (rentals, catering, flowers, photos, ect....) for 10K or less. Anyone have any ideas on where to look in Austin and the surronding area???

    Hey, Charlotte -

I have been looking for something inexpensive in that area, as well. Chapel Dulcinea is a free wedding chapel about 20 minutes south of Austin. There are several reception venues close by. If you just google the Chapel, you can come up with lots of pictures. I haven't been to see it yet; but it does look romantic, especially at night.

Reunion Ranch in Georgtown allows you to have an outdoor wedding and an indoor reception. Price includes ceremony, reception, catering, in house decorations if you choose to use them, in house music if you choose to use them, and a bar with beer and wine.  Your pretty much just have to bring in flowers and cake.  We had a gorgeous wedding and I don't think we skimped on anything for less than $8000

Look at the Phillips Event Center. They include tables linens and chairs in the rental price and are very reasonable for a large space. They have a beautiful patio, ballroom and foyer, and a parking lot with plenty of space! www.phillipseventcenter.com
