Photo sharing

I love the idea of having a place guest can upload their pictures. What website have you found that works the best?

Many photographers will also offer you the option of a site where your guests and friends can access your photos.

Having my guests send theirs to Kodak Gallery. Lots of pros and cons but I like the quality of their prints.

Edited to add, you can go here: http://classic.kodakgallery.com and order an archival quality CD of all the prints.

We used Winkflash...but I have to tell you only two people uploaded photos!
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!

I read somewhere and we are planning on doing this.

I am going to in the invite encourage guests to take pics during the night. We will have someone at the reception (my adult nephew) stationed with a laptop to upload unto the computer that night, so the guests don't forget, or flake.

Then we will add all the pics to our wedding website.

I actually just discovered weddingturtle after a friend's wedding, and it was really easy for me to upload pictures from that. They even send cards for free with information about how and where to upload photos in case you want to put in on the tables or something. Good luck!

I've used photobucket.com for other events in the past, and just gave everyone the password.  However, I noticed that both Walgreens and Wal-Mart have "group rooms" you can set up for everyone to upload their event pictures.  That also comes in handy because it makes it easy for anyone to print those photos right from the store's photo center.  I haven't actaully tried either of those, though.

Check out this option (disclaimer I work at the company):http://weddings.storymixmedia.com/guest-uploads-wedding-guest-photos-videos.html

The key to getting photos from your guests is to make it super easy, just click the url and upload, which is how our site works.  You also don't want people posting photos that you don't want public, that's why you get to decide which files are added to the private gallery for download.

Our site also allows video files and you can even create a DVD slideshow from the photos uploaded.
