Reception at Butler University

Hey Ladies-

Has anyone had a wedding at Butler  or been to a wedding at Butler? I'm trying to decide between that and the Library downtown Indianapolis.

What do you guys think?

    I'm a Bulter student (go Dawgs!!!!!) and of course my opinion is biased, but I think Butler is one of the prettiest and most romantic places ever. I've never actually been to a wedding here, but I have spied on plenty! Where on campus were you thinking to have the reception? The ceremony in the Holcomb gardens is gorgeous and you could probably arrange to have the carrillion bells play. I also think that the library downtown is beautiful. The old staircase reminds me of Beauty and the Beast and when I went there for the first time, I immediately thought how romantic a wedding there would be. With the library, some of the rooms with old books carry the old book musty smell.

    I have tried etting in contact with Butler. Do you know if you can just have the ceremony there or do you have to have both?
