Our first big shower is this weekend in FI's hometown in Arkansas! So excited!
And maybe this is wrong of me, but I'm almost more excited FI's brother is flying in from New Orleans to drive up with us, because that means I can sleep in the back of the car the whole time. Seriously, my favorite thing in the world is sleeping in cars.

Carrie, I keep forgetting -- what part of Arkansas? It's LR, right? I hope you have fun!

I slept for like... 10 hours last night. And we still haven't done the Biology EOC. I told H I wanted to just take Friday off and recover, but I don't have the days anymore. Plus I doubt I could get a sub this late in the year.

And despite the rumors apparently swirling around the school, I'm not pregnant and a little bummed about it.

BUT because I hate sounding all whiny, I am REALLY excited about all the weddings coming up! And the weather is so pretty right now!

Ughhh!!! speaking of iPhone's I really love mine and have never had a a problem with it as far as updates. Well I updated mine yesterday and it completely whiped out my outlook calender. So I've spent all morning trying to get that straightened out. Luckily I was able to retrieve some of it. I'm not sure why just outlook and why I was only able to retrieve some of it. I've heard horror stories of the iCloud download. I'm pretty sure I disabled it on the last update. Anyway..technology a love hate relationship.

I have learned through MANY phones to never update unless I am having legitimate problems. I hated my iphone so much 2 years ago because after I updated it pretty much ruined my phone, so I switched to Android and loved it up until a few months ago when I did an update and pretty much the same thing happened. So I learned it's not the Apple OS, or the Android OS.
I just learned that the software releases will update at a faster speed than people replace their smartphones, and it gets to a point where your one year old phone cannot handle the software updates.

My baby sister is getting married in a month! She isn't so much a baby anymore (26!), but I have been getting emotional every time I think about it. I'm sure that I will cry more during her ceremony and reception than I did at my own.

Found an Alterations lady (woot!). Becky was way booked (and I don't blame her- I am the irresponsible one who waited two weeks before my day to get this done) but she sent me to someone she trusts. Getting my zipper fixed today- whee! At least it's not a fitting I say!

Carrie, good luck at the shower, with so many people, I know it will be a blast.

winechic, I keep hoping my IT company that I work for will finally upgrade my POS blackberry, but I am sure that will never happen. Until then, I carry my BB and my iPhone everywhere. What a PITA. (first world problems?)

P.S. Pinstripes is AWESOME. Bill rushed cleaned my gown and delivered it to my house at 8:30 last night just to make sure I have it. What a sweetheart!

My To-Do list is finally getting smaller and smaller. Only a few things left

aeliza...My H had an iPhone at his old company, and when he switched jobs a few months ago, he had to go to a Backberry. Not even an android. And he HATES it too! He's to the point he's about to buy an iPod Touch for the benefits of the apps,etc since he doesn't need or want to be carrying two phones. Total PITA! And yes, BIll does rock! The other Amanda, did you get my email with his info??

Oh yea, speaking of babies Amanda, you reminded me! I am planning my BFFs baby shower, and stayed up until 1:30 last night tying and putting together invitations for this thing. And I'm still not done. I have to find some time during lunch or after the Rangers game tonight to finish 35 more. Not sure why I make this complicated. Can't I just like simple?

Professor -- You're probably right about the stress affecting your body like that. I'm sure after you move you'll get back to normal. Don't be bummed already!

FI came home in good spirits yesterday and super tan. I'm going to look so pasty in our pictures next to him because I'm stark white, lol. I am pissed though because they sent him (knowingly) home with incorrect aftercare plans and he has no appointments. None. Zero. Didn't even bother to print him out meeting schedules. Do I want to strangle someone? YES. But I know this is illegal, and that's pretty much the only thing stopping me. :P

We're getting our marriage license tomorrow... wohoo! It's starting to hit me that we are getting married in just over a WEEK. oh.my.god.

Yay for showers, and baby rumors, and new phones (oh my)! Oh AND FIs being home!!

Angelsong - It's SO close! Yay! Have you thought about doing a spray tan? Maybe it's too close for that, but I'm trying my first one out tonight. A friend of a friend actually travels around and is coming to my house to do it, which is super convenient. Also, are you guys going to contact the treatment center about what he should be doing? That sounds really frustrating.

FI and I had our second half of our e-pic sesh today at the ice rink (he is a hockey player). It was so much fun! I'm just hoping that the fun we were having actually translates into the pics. I think we will be fully blogged tomorrow or Friday. Eeeee (excitement)!

It IS frustrating because now he's sitting at home alone all day and I have to try to let go of my fears and anxieties about that. Oh, Amy, I felt the same way when H got back from Saudi Arabia -- Who is this bronzed god, and what has he done with my FI? He had considerably longer to lighten up a little, though.

I'm sorry about Randy's treatment place. I'm sure he's just so relieved to be home, though (and you, too)!

I have to share a funny moment. When my class phone rings, I always say, "This is Amanda M_____" when I answer. Today, the nurse called and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I was looking for Amanda C_____!" Very cute.

I hear you on that. I have given up trying anything new with my skin because it's just not worth it if it triggers my eczema. I tried all those gradual-tan-lotions and they all gave me breakouts. My MOH tried to plan a group trip to go get facials two days before the wedding. (I've never had one before). I opted out of that trip pretty quick!

Well sorry that I'm late on my response. This day was just ridiculously busy.

Amy - I understand about the sensitive skin thing. That can be pretty scary. I have semi sensitive skin and I'm doing good so far but I am kinda worried about my face breaking out. : /

Carrie - He skates at Nytex, where the Brahmas play, and at the Dr Pepper Star Center in Euless. I didn't know that you went to A&M! So did I. FI was actually going to try out for the ice hockey team there but he never ended up transferring.
