What is the brand of your elliptical & was it worth the $$$ you paid?

Hopefully with the tax return we are getting an elliptical. We live in Montana so it is very slim to locations to buy one.

So mainly K-Mart and Wal Mart are our options.

Anyone know any good brands form here that are decent priced (under 500) and still quality, like it is holding up even though it isn't a 1,000 dollar one? Please and Thank you!

I don't own an elliptical, but I know just from going to the gym that certain models (particularly the ones that let you change the incline) seem to break down a LOT more than the ones that do not adjust incline but have the moving arm pieces.

I would look at reviews on amazon.com or a similar site for any model you are considering getting.

I think when going that cheap, you'll unfortunately probably get what you pay for.

Yeah, I would use the money to buy a gym membership instead. That way you're not screwed if it breaks.

I actually LOVE my elliptical. I purchased a Schwinn a couple years ago for about $475 on clearance plus I received a $50 off coupon for Sports Authority. I really enjoy my workouts and haven't had any issues.

I purchased it because I decided I'd much rather have the elliptical in my home and I figured 7 months of a gym membership pays for the elliptical.
