STD opinions please!

So I have 2 designs for our STD magnets and I'm wondering which you ladies like best....

    I like the look of the first one better. But, I am not sure about the text. I wouldn't repeat the word "date" twice. I like the first part, "it's getting late for a very important date."  Overall, great job! :) Love the pic.

    I like the second one.  I think the red heart on your date is so cute and it is easier to read.

    Both are really cute

    I like the 1st one better, but I think if it where in the red like the second one it would look cuter than the purple

    I agree with Genie03 and Mellie35. I like the 1st one if it would be written in red. I think the writing in red would be great bc if I remember correctly your invitations use the same red writing so it would be a small way to give them a sneak preview of your invite. The repetition of date does sound a bit awkward on the first one.

    Okay I like the 1st one because it matches what you have on in the picture.  But I like the 2nd one more because it is going to match your overall theme.
    I'm so anal I would go with the 2nd one to keep everything cohesive. 
    I know that doesn't matter to some - JMO.

    I like the first one better but I know the second one fits your colors/theme...

    Second one looks better because it's clearer reading.  If you like the extra information on the first one.  You can make it look less busy by using only two different fonts.

    As a rule of thumb on pretty much anything printed, using more than two fonts can start to be distracting and confusing for the eye.  And repetition always reinforces your design.

    Also, since red and black are your colors. Don't deviate from them.  You want everything to echo itself, or at least harmonize with the overall feel of your wedding.

    I did the purple because it matched my dress! for some reason I wasn't feeling the red! But some of you made good points

    That's my thought! I love purple, but I like the simple text of the second.
