Depending on time of year of course, and how much time the visitors have (and these are in no particular order)...

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, West Side Market, The Chalet in the Metroparks (tobogganning or hayrides, depending on season), Cuy. Valley National Park in Peninsula (for hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing), Cuy. Valley Scenic Railroad, Browns game, Indians game, Lake Erie Monsters game (hockey), Cleveland Metroparks (for hiking or nature programs), Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall (Cleve. orchestra performance), Lakeview Cemetery (James A. Garfield Memorial, etc.), Holden Arboretum, Blossom Music Center concerts, wineries (especially east and south of Cleveland), Boston Mills/Brandywine (skiing, snowtubing, etc), along with various seasonal festivals and some excellent restaurants around town. Beyond greater Cleveland, there's Cedar Point, Punderson State Park, Lake Farm Park, plus the Akron/Canton area attractions.

There's no shortage of things to do in northeast Ohio, IMO. The above list is just what came to mind first. I'm sure I missed a bunch.
