Detailed Program As Worship Aid for Non-Catholics

We are having a nuptial Mass for our wedding, and the bulk of our guests will not be Catholic. Does anyone have a link to their program, or a word document, that served as a worship aid for their guests? I mean one that includes the responses ("Thanks be to God," etc.), when to sit/stand/kneel, and perhaps something stated nicely about communion?

Many thanks in advance...

Oh, man, that'd be rough.  If you want the responses printed, you'd have to print the entire mass!  We had only about 50% Catholic, but we just outlined the parts of the Mass plus the readings and hymns.  Your priest should explain things like the sign of peace and Communion.

I designed a program in Microsoft Publisher that included most of the congregational responses, but not the full text of the Mass.  (I.e., I didn't print all the intercessions of the faithful, only the response; didn't print the Eucharistic prayers, only the last few words before a response; etc.)  Our priest liked it.

If you want my sample, PM me with your email and I will send it to you.  :)

That's basically what I want - not the entire text of the Mass, just the phrases before responses and the responses. Thank you - PM for you!

Does the church have one? Our church has laminated aides in the pews for regular masses.  Maybe you can get one of those and modify it for the ceremony?

Your church will probably have one.  I have a copy of mine somewhere, if you PM me your address, I'll send you a copy.  Mine wasn't much longer than a typical Catholic program, but it had "sit, stand" in the right places and had all the responses typed out.  Also, the readers/cantor were taught during the rehearsal how to indicate to the guests when to sing/speak, and the Catholics in the group already knew so could "lead."

I saw a sample program that one of the coordinators at our church did that just had the outline of the ceremony, but under the readings (which were not printed in full, just chapter and verse), it said, "Response: Thanks be to God." or whatever was appropriate.  It was 4x11 2-sided card.

The priest at most of the catholic weddings I've attended usually gives a signal to sit or stand, and people who are unfamiliar just kind of follow what everyone else does.
