F/U to Army wife blog!

Found this on military.com. Haven't read the entire thing yet, but doesn't look like any new info, just new perspective. Talk about viral. <Clicky>

Re: F/U to Army wife blog!

  • It's so crazy how this went viral. This girl is somewhat infamous now!
  • Her blog has been deleted too! I think she deserves all the backlash she's getting for what she wrote
  • edited February 2012
Wow. I am still so taken by what she said. Edit- taken back
  • What a biitch face!

  • That was a really well written response

  • Yeah that was a good response!

  • The First Ammendment: You can say it, but people can respond to it.
    The Internet: Is For-ev-er.

Two lessons that had to be learned the hard way.

I will say that I can't understand her "hubs" (don't even) responding on her site, where it would be pretty obvious who he was. Even if he agreed with her, I find it pretty telling about him that he was willing to write what he wrote, it just seemed to ill-informed. I guess I wonder, did he really think there would be no consequences? He wrote his response after some of the comments and publicity started, it seemed, what was he thinking? There comes a time when you have to let your spouse fight their own battles. If it had just been her, his command could have talked to him, but I don't think it would have been as bad for him. I'd still think she was ridiculous, but I don't think it would have affected their lives as much, it seems like he's the bread--winner and they're about to have a child. Not a smart move.

  • I saw this madness on FB, ugh made me so mad! Her husband's command was called and he received counseling for commenting on her blog and adding to her argument. Serves him right. As a recruiter, that's not a good way to get new recruits lol. I know most of us are new military wives or soon to be wives, so I knowi haven't room to talk. But seriously they just got married in August and she is running her mouth like she knows everything about everything in the military world. Like how she said NG is a militia, no its a department of the Army, hence the U.S. Army badge on their uniform. End rant.

  • I didn't get to see the blog but have read what others have posted. Firstly I think she's nuts. Secondly, I think her husband jumped to her defense (as any husband should) but maybe not in the right way. I feel bad for him.
