I know our dollar stores in va beach have really cute and different shaped vases that are all a DOLLAR. you could always go get a whole bunch of different size and shape vases there and display the candy that way. it would be cute and cheap!

I agree with the Dollar Tree idea.  But tonight I went to Marshall's (clothing store), well in their home section that had very nice looking plastic bowls/vases/etc.  Alot were as cheap as 4.99, so as long as you are not having dozens of types of candy, that would be a cheap way to go as well.  I am sure that T.J. Maxx and Ross's would have the same type of item since they are all similiar stores.

Ikea in Woodbridge has great glass bowls, trays, and vases.  That is where I am getting a LOT of my containers.  Ikea has inexpensive everything!

For a stylish candy buffet, apothecary jars are perfect. They are v expensive at Michaels, Joanns, etc. so I went to Marshalls/Home Goods/ TJ Maxx and got them all for less than $10 apiece. At Michael's they were around $17-30! Crazy! Beware of ordering any online because  alot of times the glass is too fragile, or the lids don't fit on right. Also the size is hard to tell online.
