I posted this morning about a friend of FI's who wants to come to the wedding, and our final count was given yesterday, without him being part of that count.
I don't think he'll show up but I was worried if I assumed he wouldn't that he would so I emailed the even coordinator and she said not to worry, there will be extra food (they order more meals than we put in for for emergencies) and if he does show up, there will be a seat and food available.
She is not going to add him to our final count since he's most likely not going to come, but if he does, we'll just have to pay for his meal (no upcharge or anything) at the end of the reception or the next day.
I'm so relieved that we don't have to pre-pay for someone that I'm not expecting to even show up, and I'm feeling better about what would happen if he does. I still despise this person, but if FI feels better about inviting him, then I'm happy, and hopefully he can behave if he does show up (or he'll be escorted out by my MOH's state police brother!)
My event coordinator is amazing, I think I love her! lol
