Sugestions for a photographer?

Hello,

Fiance and I are now looking for a photographer.  He wants someone with a photojournalistic style.  Our budget is around 2K. Does anyone have suggestions?

    I actually just booked our photographer and we are using Catherine Del Buono and she seems to fit in your budget.  I love her and her work.  Her web-site does not do her pictures justice, she needs to update it.  The pictures she showed us when we met with her are gorgeous. 

    We also met with Erin from 5th Avenue Photography and she is also with that budget.  She has really nice pictures and it was a hard choice to pick between the two.  The reason I went with Cathy is because I liked her pictures better and we connected better.

    It depends on what you're looking for in the way of a package.  We're excited about working with Robert Wayne Photography.  We love his style and we really clicked with him.  You can work with him and get just your disc of images for around $2k.  Even with albums, you'd probably find what you're looking for for less than $3k.

    I looked at Jason Rhee and he was within that budget with a great package. We ultimately went with J Paul studios because we loved the owner, his work, and he really came down to our budget. (his website DOES NOT do his work justice)

    Our photographer is great. I wanted photojournalistic as well as that is what he gave to us for our engagement shoot. Everyone is saying they can't wait to see the wedding pictures. His website is www.searching4jphotography.com. He is very talented and very affordable. Hope this helps.

    Thank for all the answers.  We send e-mails to the photographers recommended on the first postings.  I am going to look up the other recommended photographer when fiance and I sit down together again to organize things for the wedding.
