BMs dress shopping round 1 XP

So today was the day for my girls to go shopping for there dress. I was so excited. I had planned for them to get there dresses and then go out to eat for apps and drinks ( my treat). Well it didnt go nothing like I planned

BM#1 txts me dis morning saying she couldnt make it cause Oo she forgot.. (read previous post..Here we go..its always one)

BM#2 calls me and ask can she ride with me because her hubby needed to use the car

I said no problem..then as Im on my way to her house she calls and says she cant go...no babysiiter.

BM#3 call (by the time im like F it..nobody has to g, because I knew she was calling to cancel) me and says she cant go because of some personal issues and not having her car.

So you can imagine..Im so damn frustrated by now. What I thought was supposed to be fun and a day to remember shopping with my BMs for dresses was not at all that.

MOH (little sis) she was only the one who came thru. We went to 1st bridal shop and all the dresses I picked for her to try they did not have in the store. The 2 dresses she tried on we did not like. So, me, little sis, my lil niece, and mom trailed it down the street to DBs.

After 4 tries and changing the color of her dress. She found the dress. Its cobalt blue (horizon blue) and we are adding a gold sash to it..It looks so pretty on my sissy. I was seeing my vision. My other girls will be going on there own, I told them to pick there style, but they have to get same material, length, and color that I choose. So as soon as they go Ill update on that !

Ive had that happen, it sucks but don't let it get you down. I hope you tell anyone they may know how much fun you and your sister had together bm dress shopping

Im glad that you were able to go with your sis and pick something out. I think it is very reasonable of you to allow your girls to go on their own time and select a dress within your parameters. Make sure to give them a deadline, so you dont run out of time!

I can totally relate. I went with 2 of my bridesmaids a few weeks ago. Out of the remaining 4, two will wear anything I suggest and 1 is a junior bridesmaid and may wear something different. That just leaves MOH to pick a dress. Everyone else really liked the dress the first 2 girls picked out, but MOH won't even try it, or anything else, on. I would never make her wear something she was uncomfortable in, but I wish she would at least try the dress on.
