Wedding Invitations & Paper

Online RSVP Question

Hello!  I am beginning to figure out the wording and set-up for my invitations and have run into a question I am not sure about!  We have set up a wedding website with a section for guests to RSVP online.  I am wondering how to address this on the RSVP cards in the invitation.  I was thinking one possiblily would be to use the RSVP cards as a place to print the website address and ask them to RSVP there for a majority of the guests, then print out traditional RSVP cards to mail back for guests that we know are not technology savvy (grandparents, etc.)  What do you think?  Thanks for the input!

Re: Online RSVP Question

  • Hello,

I did this as well. I created 2 different RSVP inserts. One with RSVP'ing online at our website for our younger crowd and one RSVP card  w/envelope to send back to us for the older parents/grandparents etc.

My invites are being mailed out Monday, so lets hope this goes accordingly tehehe. Good luck :)

  • Thanks!  That makes me feel more confident in going the "2 RSVP cards" route!!!
  • Why would you pay for an RSVP card that guests won't mail back?

And be advised, e-rsvps lend a decidedly casual vibe to your wedding invitations, and by extention, to the wedding itself.
