Has anyone done a candy buffet?
I've got the apothecary jars, scoops, bags, ribbons/signs, everything but the candy. A lot of the candy I'm getting off the internet; my colors are red and black, the net seems to be the easiet place to find black candy that isn't soley black licorice flavor!
How far in advance did you get your candy? Where did you find the best deals? How much of each kind did you get? How many kinds did you have?

Watch out for shipping charges, some charge as much as the candy, it gets really expensive. For example, you may be better off ordering from a website that charges $4 lb with free shipping versus $3 lb and $3 shipping.
We ordered most from nuts.com (they sent us niced sized sample of chocolate covered pretzels!) and thenuttyfruithouse.com
We had 5 different kinds of candy. Not a huge selection but we had a small crowd.
