Help! I had a bad airbrush make up trial and am considering doing my own makeup. Does anyone recommend any good foundations that will last all day and look good in pictures?
Depends on your skin type and the amount of coverage you want, really. Do you wear makeup regularly everyday? If not, you'll need to practice well in advance of the wedding. Whatever you use, I'd recommend using a primer underneath, though, to help your foundation last.
Do you mind if I ask what was bad about it? My makeup artist also uses a long-lasting airbrushed foundation that she swears by (it apparently wears virtually perfectly for 24 hours), but having never tried something like this before, I'm a little nervous.
I agree with the PP that recommends primer - I'd suggest heading to Sephora, explaining your delimma and asking for samples that you can try out in advance.
I recommend buying a few from sephora and testing them out for a few weeks. Then return the ones you don't like. Try them with setting powders and/or setting sprays. Try mixing in luminizers, moisturizer or face oils to find a formula that works best for the look you're going for.
Thanks everyone. I liked getting airbrused because my face looked flawless- the color was eay toolight forme. Nothing against the makeup..more so against the artist. My eyes were done unevenly..mylips were outlined too much and my fairly light eyebrows were penciled in extremely thick and dark.
I.just think i can do abetter job. I picked up some hd foundation from sephora today. I also found someone to do another trial.

This has nothing to do with airbrushing. I would suggested trying to different makeup artist. Airbrushed makeup it made to stay on for 18+ hours and it also made for high definition photography (which regular make up is not) A good MUA should be able to match your skin tone perfectly with airbrushing. I strongly recommend it esspecially if you dont have a foundation brand that you trust for coverage.
