Welcome Happy Hour/Hors D'oeuvres in Oahu

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place with a fun, exciting vibe to host a Welcome Happy hour + Hors' Doeuvres in Waikiki/Honolulu?

Preferably with a live band or live music

Hoping maybe some local Knotties can share their favourite stomping grounds? =)

Tiki's is a great place in Waikiki - I know they have live music - not sure what nights, but the food & drinks are pretty good. :) And of course the ocean view is always a winner, many of my out of town guests wouldn't mind going back. http://tikisgrill.com/

Heard RumFire is good at the Sheraton and they have happy hour, so does outrigger reef on the beach!

Those are both great spots!  I also love Shorebirds, they have live music nightly.  It depends on how big of a group you are expecting.

RumFire has a very modern club/lounge feel to it. It can get loud inside with the music. The patio is a better place to hang out if you plan to actually talk to your guests.

The Shorebird is a lot of fun because you gather around a grill with everyone else in the restaurant and grill your own meal  and I love their lava flows, but I think the service there is pretty bad. They have live music there and it has more of a Hawaiian vibe and I constantly found coupons for food here in pretty much any magazine.

I think Duke's has happy hour and it is always a lively spot and they usually have someone there making leis which would be a fun gift to your guests at the Welcome Party.

    Good luck!
