  We're looking into the Natchez, it looks like their food and drink packages are more reasonable and flexible than other venues, however the catch is that it's not unlimited and it's only a two hour party.  (If I remember right from their web site the Creole Queen does the standard three hour party with unlimited food/drink for a price that is comparable to City Park, etc.)  We're doing our site visit at the Natchez on Saturday so I can keep you posted if you want to know what we thought.  One bride posted some bad things about them that their wedding got bumped for a charter group but we figure you could have trouble at any venue.  When I asked to see the contract so I could look it over beforehand the wedding coordinator said they are revising it...so I plan to review everything VERY carefully before I sign, but it isn't keeping me from looking into it.  So far she was responsive to my inquiries and she answered a whole long list of questions I sent her prior to my site visit...if there is anything specific you are wondering about send me a private message and I'll be glad to share the info if it's something I already asked about.

  i would search the new orleans board for the word natchez you will find some interesting reading about the natchez and some of it is not to good

  how many people did you have?...was it crowded? did anyone miss the cruise  (silly, I know but we had a dental school formal on this boat and some the dates missed the ship!---doh!)?  did you also get married there also?.did you use your own officiant?...did you have a band or dj come aboard?----was it crowded?.. did they try to pull any shenanigans like mentioned earlier?

  We didnt have our wedding on the Creole Queen but we had our rehearsal/welcome party on there and loved it! The coordinator, Paul, was amazing, worked with us and substituted things for other things we wanted. The staff was very helpful the day of and not one person missed the cruise.
