Hi,I had my heart set on having hydrangea centerpieces at my July wedding next year.I recently heard that if hydrangea's are cut too early (as in July) they will wilt almost immediately.I also heard that if you put fresh cut hydrangeas into boiling water for a few minutes immediately after cutting, the sticky sap (which causes wilting) will be released from the stems and you should have no problem with wilting.Has anyone ever heard of/tried this technique? Unfortunately I didn't have time to try this before summer ended this year and all the hydrangeas are gone. I'm nervous to get the hydrangeas now and would feel much better if anyone has tried this boiling water experiment and could vouch that it works! Thanks in advance for any advice!Melissa
