Please suggest a photographer in the central FL area.

We have only lived here for two years, so we are not too familiar. I really don't want to skimp on a photographer; of course, I want to pay the better price in the end.

I'm using Jessica Leigh. Her prices are great (only $750 for 6 hours of coverage & all your images on a high resolution CD with full rights). She also offers packages with albums but I'd rather have them done myself for a fraction of the price. Her work is great, definitely not sacraficing quality for price. Her site is jleighphoto.com

I am using Sandra Johnson Photography. It is a husband and wife team. I haven't had my wedding yet but they did an amazing job on our engagement pictures.

we haven't picked one. tomorrow we have our first venue appt. at the courtyard at lake lucerene, just to start getting ideas. i have made a list of about 30!

We are using Reg Garner. He is very talented! I have to admit that not all of the wedding photos on his website excited me...but I was really impressed by the photos in the "travels afar" section of his website, so we looked into him. We decided to meet with him, and he brought several portfolois of his wedding shoots. The shots were absolutely AMAZING. And I think that he is priced reasonably, especially given some of his accomplishments (i.e. work on display in the Smithsonian Museum).

We used Nikki Rosa! She's incredibly talented, great to work with, and very sweet. My sister used her for her wedding, and a friend of ours is using her for her wedding next weekend.

I just booked Rhodes Studio. Great guy and so down to earth. He made me feel comfortable and I thought his pictures were great and his prices reasonable. I got a photo/video combo and felt it was worth the price. I know someone else who booked with him and her engagement pictures are absolutely beautiful. We haven't had our e-shoot with him yet so I can't speak from personal experience but I'm happy with our choice and we are looking forward to working with him.

Allow me to throw in a good word for Fat Catz Photography - those gals are fun and spunky and do some completely FABULOUS work. Um, ridiculously stunningly beautiful photography. I looked at Jessica Leigh as well but have heard from several people that she's been very flaky lately so I'm glad we stayed away. We couldn't have been happier with our pictures!

Check out Simply Different Photography as well. They are a new-ish company so their proces are still really great. Their work is phenomenal though and the girls are so much fun to work with. Our engagement photos are amazing!

I would definitely contact Breter Photography. They are doing my wedding in February. They did all of my engagement photos as well, and do amaazing work! Rob has a great eye for capturing unique pictures, and his wife Tara is very professional, always responding to emails and phone calls within 24 hours. I'm using Ashley McCormick. Our E-pics turned out great, and she is the sweetest person! She's also really great about follow up - she emails you back super fast. I can't wait to work with her at our wedding! I recommend highly so far.
