Review on Dianna from Hawaii Wedding and Events Co.

Has anyone heard any reviews on Dianna from the company "Hawaii Wedding and Events" based out of Honolulu?  She was featured on Martha Stewarts wedding, wondering if anyone on here is using her or has used her as their planner?

    Lots of folks on here have used Dianna before and I've noticed mostly positive reviews.  I think destiny1108 used her before.  They're really popular.  You might want to check out review websites, such as:

    we used Dianna, she was amazing and is doing my friends wedding in July 2012. We hired her for full service as we both work long hours and didn't have much time to devote too our planning.   Her pricing was very reasonable in comparison to some other WC we contacted during our scouting trip.

    i used dianna, and although she gets a lot of love on this board, i was pretty disappointed with the way she handled several aspects of our wedding...I don't want to share publicly, but will be happy to give you more details in a PM if you'd like.

    We are currently using her, with mostly smooth sailing. I leave Friday for our wedding on the 23rd & can give a more accurate review of her in a few weeks :)

    I used Wai, also from Hawaii Wedding & Events. Started the talk with Dianna, and then she got booked for our day before we decided on securing them, so we ended up working with Wai. I actually think it worked out for the best, we Wai and I got along really well. Wai is simply awesome, I felt the whole time like I was her only bride - she was ALWAYS available for whatever I needed (even when my only availabilty for a conference call was only on a Friday at 8pm her time!), she definitely went above and beyond to solve any problem that I was worried about and did way more that we could ever expect from the package we got. 

    Just to give you an idea, on the day before the wedding, my fiance and I were super worried as we realized that the white resin chair we had rented would not work for his mom - who has some challenge moving around and needs special seating. In a span of 30 mins Wai called all her contacts, tried checking with rental companies among other options, and nothing would work or was available. She finally calls a friend of hers who offers to take his own office chair. She txt msgs me a picture for us to give the OK, and that's as much as I had to do; the chair was perfect and suddenly I had nothing to worry about as she took care of all the rest. 

    Thsi is just one example, but the whole relationship was really really good. We couldn't have done it without her - just from my smiles everytime I talked to her over the phone, my (now husband) knew that that was our best decision. 

    She got compliments from every single person in my family and even the officiant after interacting with her during the rehearsal said it was the best coordinator she had worked with - the officiant was a friend from California who has worked with many other coordinators so we took that as good sign...

    I know each person has a different experience and even if fromt he same company, each coordinator may have a different style... but I recommend Wai from HW&E 100%!

    Thanks so much for all your detailed advice.  So far, with correspondence from HW&E, they have been excellent!!!! 

    MelMac, congratulations!! Your day is coming up very soon.  I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that you have the best day of your lives.

    Unfortunately, we opted to book our venue somewhere else where they already have their own coordinator included, whom has been equally as great as Dianna.  But, I would highly recommend HW&E.  They are professionals and really are there for you and they respond so promptly to your questions.
