    My instinct is Kohls but only because of the sales they can have and the discount codes. I know nothing about buying fancy neckties.

    Someone told me JC Penney, but I'm not sure if their selection has changed with their new "Fair and Square" thing.  I found some online that I liked at Sears.  Ben likes to pick up his work ties at Jos A Bank.

    Nordstrom has a vast selection. I am buying mine from them since Men's warehouse does not have a tie that close to my girls dress color. I even bought a tie for my dad to match my mom ...

    We looked at Kohls and Macy's and both had good selection.  Kohls is definitely less expensive but we ended up getting ours at Macy's because FI found one he liked better.

    My FI got his GM ties at cheap-neckties.com.  He paid I think $5 or $10 per tie and they look great.

    We got the bow ties for the guys in our party at thetiebar.com. the ties were $15 a piece and theywere good quailty.
