I was wondering if anyone who has been married could recommend an officiant. The rev. at the church I have been going to since I was a child will not marry us because we lived together before marriage.

The officiant doesn't necessarily have to be a rev or of the church.

    I am not married yet, but I really like Debbie from Unity of Tampa. This is who we are using.

    I LOVE our officiant: Deborah Walker of "A Florida Wedding". Look the company up on Wedding Wire and see how many people love her and how calm/organized/smooth she made the day.

    Caveat: I have not been married yet. This is just my opinion thus far.

    I'm using my pastor, Donna Oberkreser from Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I <3 her! :) She does require premarital counseling, but we wanted that anyways (to get the marriage license discount) so it worked out well for us.     Might I say again how much I love my officiant? She's been trying to help us find a good DJ that she trusts for the timing of the ceremony -- love it!

    We aren't married yet, but we met with our officiant several times and he is very nice.

    We are using Pastor Craig Moore from St. Lukes United Methodist Church in St Pete.  We are not members of his church & he doesn't require any pre-marital counseling but will do it if you want.  His cost is $100 (total) for the rehersal & ceremony.  727.321.1335 is the number for the church.
