When are you giving your boudoir photos to him?

Hi ladies,
If you did or are doing boudoir photos when do you plan on giving them to him?
I was thinking about hiding him in the house and give him little notes to find it the night before the wedding. I will already be at the hotel so he won't be able to see me in person. Some of my friends said i should give it to him in person. I want to see his face but then I think not being there will make him even more excited for the honeymoon! Let me know what your doing!

I am giving it to him the night before the wedding, with instructions to open them the morning of. I am attaching a card that says "A glimpse into your future"- We are waiting till marriage to have sex, so it will be a great surprise for him :-)

ccialone--way to go for waiting until marriage! I am too!

I'm tempted to give the pictures to FI on his birthday...but that'd be a little under 2 months before the wedding....do you think that's too early?

Thats so exciting! I took my friend to get hers done for her bachelorette gift, she was a little nervous so I went with her and did some of my own, even though I'm wasn't engaged yet. She gave them to her husband the night of his bachelor party, I gave them to my boyfriend for his birthday. I had another friend who left them for her fiance to find the morning of their wedding, as she spent the night before at her parents. Whatever you feel is right i suppose, because all three "presentations" (for lack of a better word) went over really well. I kind of would have rather waited to give them to my boyfriend for our wedding, but that was a ways off and i was afraid he'd find out about them and ruin the suprise - I just can't keep a secret from the man lol, but i guess thats a good thing

That's exactly what I was thinking. We're waiting to have sex as well and he has NO IDEA that I have taken photos. I was thinking about hiding them and leaving notes leading him to the photo album. I will already be at a hotel so he won't be able to see me until I start walking down the aisle!!

I love the overall idea of doing this. My boyfriend and I are not yet engaged, but have planned a time peroid for our wedding next year. (His work requires him to put in his vacation a year early.) And we too have decided to save ourselves for marriage.
This may be a little personal and forward, but what exactly goes on. I am a little uneasy about 'posing' or 'modeling' anyway, so I'm not sure about it. What do you wear and that kinda thing. Like I said, I love the idea, especially giving it to him the morning of the wedding!

lexa10- I did my photo shoot last night it was so much fun! I was nervous about posing but I had met with my (female) photographer before and I also email her some poses I liked. My FI is a cop so I wore his uniform shirt with lacy panties and high heals for a few poses, I wore a super cute bra and skirt/pantie set, and then i wore my veil and panties for the last shots. Everything will be covered in the photos besides a little butt cheeks and side of my chest. I'll probably show my mom the photos! I'm really excited to see how they come out. You can wear whatever you fell comfortable in!

@texas1805: Where did you find poses you liked? On line or did you just keep your eye out??

@jyoung01: I definitly don't think its something for everybody. It's just depends on personal preference. I know my future husband would enjoy it, and it's something that I would life to do for him. No one should feel like they have to do it because it's the norm. It just depends on the couple. Heck, I'm not even sure if I will go through with it

Sheesh- lighten up, it sounds like fun. It's not like she's blowing up the photos to hang in the reception- they're a fun thing to give to your fiance to remind him how smoking hot your are without having to wear stilletos every day.

I wasn't going to do boudoir shots but it just sounds so fun...maybe for a 1 year anniversary or something.

I will be doing these for my FI as well. I am thinking of giving them to him during our first look photos before the ceremony so we can capture his reaction on film.

Personally, I love the idea of giving my FI his own person Playboy to look at.

I am sure whatever route you go to give this gift to your FI will be perfect. Everyone is different and you will pick the perfect way that will fit for you two to give them to him.

How far in advance before the wedding did you do the photo shoot?

I had my pictures taken when i did my bridal portraits (2 weeks ago). I almost cancelled them because I was so nervous, but I had female photographers and they really put me at ease.
I am on the larger size of "average" so showing any belly was a definite no way. I wore a slip/chemise, a corset and stockings, and a bride robe that my fiance got me and my garters. I've never felt more confident and sexier in the moment of those pictures and my fiance has no clue they're coming.
I plan on giving them to him after the reception, he is staying with his family at the hotel where the reception is the night before the wedding and I am staying with my family at their house so we won't see each other...and I'm afraid someone else's eyes may see that book if I give it to him before the ceremony.
It's not that I wanted to make a big spectacle of our relationship or the wedding, it took a lot to take those pictures and I know they will mean a lot to him. The photographer is making the cover of the book say "For Your Eyes Only" :-)
