Did anyone else use amanda? I was just wondering if they had any problems with her like I did?

I used her to video tape my wedding. Months went buy and I never got my video. So i told her I wanted the raw footage and would find someone else to work on my tapes. I went to Fisher video and they are now transfering my wedding tapes to a dvd.

I've heard of a few other videographers on here that have taken forever to get final DVDs out.  That's just not cool.  Photos are typically up in 1-2 months time, you should be able to get your video in 1-2 months as well.

    Hi Danielle,
First off, I have reported this post to The Knot and have asked them to remove it.

Your video would have been completed in a timely fashion.  You called me 3 weeks after the wedding wondering when it would be done.  Then you continued to call me once a week and harassed me on Facebook.  Video production companies take up to three months or more to complete a wedding video.  The production companies that are faster have many employees who shoot and edit video.  You hired me, a mom of two children, to videotape your wedding for $650.  I arrived at your wedding an hour early, I videotaped the entire ceremony and reception and stayed until your very last dance.

Had you let me continue editing your video you would have had a DVD with a chapter menu, photos, scene selections, transitions, music and special effects.  Instead you wanted me to rush the job.  You decided you did not want to wait any longer for your video and asked me to send you the tapes, which I did.  I also refunded you half of the price of the job.  Three months went by and you called me screaming at me that there was nothing on the video tapes.  You were calling me names and telling me that I had scammed you.  You had taken your tapes to Ritz camera.  When I asked if they had used a high definition camcorder to view your tapes you changed your tune.

Apparently you realized you were wrong and the video is in fact on the tapes as I haven't heard from you since then.  I googled my name and saw this post.  I would appreciate if you would remove this post and my name from this website.  You have made accusations that are misleading and untrue.

    Amanda
