I can't sleep. I'm bored, my mind is going a million miles an hour, I'm too tired to be productive though so I'm playing on pinterest.

Anyone around? Care to amuse me?

Experiencing the post-wedding slump at all? I didn't know what to do with myself after all that planning was done.

<div>Not really, actually. I was really laid back for almost all of the planning, so I never had that build up of stuff to do and whirlwind of stress etc. So, basically, I feel about the same, lol. Now I'm just worrying about money mostly. We've got to get a new car, but I'm going to be part time in 4 months and my paycheck is going to be cut in half. Blah.</div>

I was completely useless for a full two weeks following the wedding. It was kind of scary, in retrospect.

Money sucks. I left my part-time job a few months back to focus on finishing my MA, and have been freelancing as a voice teacher and pianist. My H is a full-time freelancer. We're getting by, but it is often unsettling not knowing what job is around the corner.

I'm suppose to finish my bachelors in biology next year, but I think I've decided to take a breather for a while. We just got married and bought a house. I'm still going to take classes, but maybe cut it down to 3 a semester.

I busted my ass with 21 hours a semester plus 12 hours each summer for the past 2 years straight. I'm so drained and my grades are showing it.

On a different note- H and I are trying to decide on tattoos we're getting. We've had a few ideas floating around for about 3 years and I think we're getting ready to go get them....finally!

I can totally relate to this, I switched from full-time to part-time status in my MA program after 2 years for similar reasons. It's taking longer but I don't feel tired and stressed ALL the time anymore, and I don't feel guilty for enjoying life.

That's pretty much where I'm at now- the enjoying life without guilt part. I also work full time and go weeks without seeing my family even though we live in the same town. I'm 100% positive I'd rather take a few extra semesters than live like I have been for the past few years. I just turned 21 and although I was never the big partying type- FFS I'm ready to have a night out with my H and friends every once in awhile without worrying about a test being right around the corner.

</div><div>I'm right there with you on all of this. I'm working on my dietetics degree, working full-time, and I never have time to just relax and enjoy life for what it is. I'm constantly running from one obligation to the next. I decided I can't live like that anymore and cut back to a part-time school schedule. It's been hard to tell a difference with wedding planning this semester, but starting this summer, the change in my schedule will really show. I'll actually be able to be home by 6:00 PM every day, have time to work out, have time to spend with FI, and just breathe.

Been there done that, which is why I took this semester off. Back to the grind in June. Thankfully I will only be working part time now. 18 credits and full time and part time job is killer.
