Own caterer

I live in Lansing area, looking for venue where I can bring in my own caterer, Lansing area preferrered, but surrounding areas are definetly options if it fits the budget and allows me to bring in my own caterer and bartender :)
Thanks in advance for any tips!

Check out the Grand Ledge Opera House, Grand Ledge Country Club and the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason.

We had intended on using Fountain Hall in St. Johns. They let you use your own caterer and bartender. The only reason we decided against it was because I'm originally from Jackson and my family was borderline devestated that we weren't going to have the ceremony and reception there.

  • I know you are looking for a place where you can bring your own - but check out www.mortonsfinecatering.com at lakeview - they are very affordable on both the food and bar packages - plus amazing food!!!
  • The Eagle Fairgrounds also has a large hall to rent. Super pretty on the inside if you can be comfortable with the location.
  • I'm having my reception at Cobblestone Events Center in Mason and it allows total freedom for vendors except you have to rent their tables and chairs or pay a $75 fee.  Their chairs and tables are equally priced or cheaper than most local companies though. $1 per chair $7 per rectangular table $8 per round.
