so i was planning a victorian spring wedding in Louisiana and a few months ago a bought this awesome pink maggie sottero ball gown, well i've been really sick lately, i've lost alot of weight, and probably won't get much back, my fiance and I have decided to get married in october of this year to try and get me on his insurance, thats how bad it's gotten.
heres the thing, my dress is my dream dress, i bought it used 2 sizes too big and found an alterations persons i truste, well I took it to her today after not trying it on for months, and it's like four sizes too big. the alterations person said it could be fixed, but that it would probably change the proportions of the dress alot. also the dress is super heavy, and when i was healthy that was fine, but now i can barely walk with it on. so i am selling my dream dress. and broken hearted about it. i tried on a freinds tea legnth dress from unique vitage ,a cute little number with a halter and swing style skirt. and i looked awful. it just did nothing for me. i also tried on another ball gown and its too much too. I'm 5 one and was a healthy weight now i'm under one hundred pounds. i don't know what to even try anymore, and since we have moved up the wedding our budget is crazy tight? any ideas? and if nothing else thanks for listening.
