Just got back home after spending a week in florida with my mom, MOH and my aunts. Did some laying out at the beach, and A LOT of wedding stuff.
1) Saw my reception site for the first time- The Sandbar on Anna Maria. Met with Patti and picked my menu, and some of my colors for linens. Also crashed a wedding on Saturday to see it set up, the bride looked gorgeous and so happy so Im so excited to be having my reception there!
2) Saw my Ceremony site for the first time- Ss. Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic church. Met with the priest and got alot of the paper work started. Have to do a lot of it on my own since my fiance is at Army training right now.
3). Looked at hotels in the area for guests. Found alot of good options!
4) Met with a florist, still waiting on her proposal but I think she saw my vision and will come through.
5) Met my photographer (accidentally) at the wedding I crashed. Dara seems great and I am excited to work with her.
6) Looked at two potential rehearsal dinner places.
7) My cousin finished my Save the Dates (she is very creative) and they were ordered today via Vista Print....Can't wait for them to come in!
8) Got my hair trial done! Cari for Kyle Lynne Weddings came to the house and did my hair, I LOVE IT!!!! Its exactly what I wanted, just plan on adding flowers day of. I know its 6 months ahead of schedule , but since I don't live there, I wanted to get it over with.
Phew...im just tired recalling all that we did in a couple days, but I feel really good about it. Next on my list is bridesmaids dresses. But Im giving myself a week off
