Engagement Party Venues- Boston/South Shore

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to find some information for an engagement party our parents would like to throw us this Novemeber in the Boston/South Shore area of MA. 

We would prefer something a little different -- a place where we could bring in alcohol / appetizers, preferably (our guest list is at about 40 right now). Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Try BeachFire in Hull. It's right on Nantasket Beach and while I understand that your party will be in November, it'll still make for a beautiful backdrop. While I know that you would prefer to bring in the food / beverages but Larry (the owner) is awesome to work with and he will cater to your budget! They updated the inside and the room upstairs is perfect for 40-50 people. He has a dj that he works with too if you're looking for music, otherwise, you can use your iPod through their speakers.
