Gifts??

I am living outside of the country and it is difficult to bring many things through the airlines because of customs and shipping is not a reliable or cost effective option?  I know people will want to gives us gifts, which is sweet, but not reallly sure how to let them know a lot of gifts will be very difficult to get to our new home?  Any ideas??

    Trust your guests to figure that out for themselves.  Most people are smart enough to understand that it's difficult to travel that far with large items.  If anybody asks what you would like, you can let them know that you won't be able to transport large items.

    If your guests know you live out of the country, they will probably not give boxed gifts.  Skip registering unless there is a store in your country who will let your guests order online, and let those who ask about a registry know that you did not register since you will be unable to transport gifts home.
