My maid of honor was my best friend Kelsey.

How long have you known each other? We met in 6th grade, so about 12 years!

    How did you meet?
My cousin had a picture of her one my fridge from elementary school. He had a crush on her. I had first period with her in junior high, so when I recognized her I was like "There used to be a picture of you on my fridge."  In retrospect it does seem a little creepy now. lol

What made you decide that she was "the one"? For me, there was really no debate. She was my oldest best friend and by far hte most reliable. I couldn't have imagined the day without her there. Plus she made my cakes, so it was a double bonus. =)

What is you favorite memory together?
After graduation in high school we took a trip to the Guadalupe River. We were both 17 and had an absolute blast. Just 3 days of our crazy antics and debauchery. Quite possibly one of the best weekends of my life.

Anything else that you want to share about this special lady?
She is 100% the reason I met my husband. Not only is she the reason I attended the college that I met him at, but she is the one that dragged me to the bar that he was working at the night we met.

•She also made my wedding cakes, so if you know anybody in Austin looking for a freelance baker send me a PM and I can give you her contact info. She is a licensed baker and has a degree from Le Cordon Bleu.

Sounds like you picked the right person!!

My Matron of Honor is my sister-in-law

How long have you known each other? We have known eachother for about 10 years.

How did you meet?  We met one day around Christmas time.  She was at my brothers apartment and my mom and I went over to visit him.

What made you decide that she was "the one"?  She is like the sister i never had.  (i only have 1 brother)  We have grown really close over the years and i can tell her anything and turn to her for advice.

What is you favorite memory together?  Usually anytime we get together it is a great memory but i would have to say that my favorite was when we went to Astroworld right before they closed it down.  It was around halloween so we went for fright fest, just her and I.  It was so much fun just to be able to hang out with her and get to act silly all day long.  We did everything there that day.  Even got scared by some Zombies.

LOL @ Jupiter about Astroworld.  I think I went to Frightfest that year too.  Oh, Astroworld, I miss you.

I haven't chosen them yet, because it's too early.  But unless something crazy happens in the next year, I know who my maid and matron will be (I'm only have two BMs... so I'm going to have them be one maid of honor and one matron of honor)

How long have you known each other?
Maid-- I've known her since 6th grade, so 12 years
Matron--She's my sister, so I've known her for 24 years

    How did you meet?

Maid--We had classes together in middle school
    Matron--Same parents :)

What made you decide that she was "the one"?

Maid--We've grown apart at times, and she has lived far away for 6 years.  But every time we get together, it's like our relationship picks up right where it left off.  We can still talk so naturally and have so much fun together.
Matron--I've always been close to my sister.  She's probably been my closest girl friend my whole life.

What is you favorite memory together?

Maid--There's so many.  But one night always sticks out--Fourth of July back in 9th grade, we spent the night at her boyfriend's house with another guy friend of ours and her boyfriend's crazy family.  We stayed up all night doing fireworks and talking.  Awesome, innocent 15 year old fun :)

Matron--Tons of sisterly memories, but I always remember playing barbies together.  Fun stuff.

How long have you known each other?
since 10th grade. So close to 11 years.

    How did you meet?
At a mutual friends slumber party. We were the only two Catholic girls at the party during lent so we couldn't have meat. That night we both couldn't sleep so we stayed up talking and bonding over pixie sticks (and other pure sugar snacks).

What made you decide that she was "the one"?
She became my bestie with out me realising it. We became closer every year and now couldn't live without her. So there was no question on who I would ask to be my MOH.

What is you favorite memory together?
I think when we became "sisters". There was a rock climbing wall at a church fair and we had to have our parents sign a release form. We couldn't find hers but found my mom. My mom signed for her and said she was her daughter. Good thing we look a little bit a like.

Anything else that you want to share about this special lady?
She traveled to be at my proposal even though it was her SOs birthday and had family visiting that day. She really is such a wonderful person. Trouble seems to find her but she always seems to handle it so well. The stories she tells crack me up. She is a friend anyone would be thankful to have for so many reasons.
