Beach Wedding Ladies- Guest Welcome bags?

Hey Ladies!!

Is anyone doing guest welcome bags? & what are you putting in them??

I need some ideas for the Bahamas.... Does anyone know if the resorts offer anything for guests?.... my pre-wedding planner is not easy to get ahold of.....

    I could actually use some brainstorming on this, too! FI and I are super excited about gift bags, but not totally sure what to put in them. I do want to have paper fans for the ladies. We've also thought of beach balls, maybe 1 per couple. Still trying to think of more ideas that won't make our suitcases weigh 500 lbs.

    I really like the emergency kits I've seen some girls do- usually includes stuff like sunscreen, tylenol or ibuprofen, band aids, maybe some pepto. I'll probably put something like that together, and was also thinking about including playing cards, mints, and maybe fans.

    We also joked about buying HUGE sombreros when we got there and tell everyone that they could "blend in with the locals" if they got separated from the group. And Spanish-to-English phrase books.

    I'm getting married in the Bahamas too. Although, it's not finalized I have thought of a few things. 

    One is adding Kalik which is the official beer of the bahamas. I was also thinking of including Tortuga Rum Cakes which are really good. I've had them before. Lastly, I was thinking of adding a whistle because it's part of the Bahamian celebration called Junkanoo.

    Where in the Bahamas are you getting married?  I'm a Bahamas bride too! 

    And I think sunscreen and Advil is a good idea!  And a koozie!

    I also thought it would be cute to maybe include a mixed cd with music from the Bahamen. I want to include things that are specific to the Bahamas. They are also things that can purchased in the Bahamas to make travel easier.

    We did these and our guests loved them. Most of them said they used everything in them. You can check out a lot of what we did for them in my bio.
