Gown Cleaning/preservation

Can anyone recommend a gown cleaner/preservation place in the northern va area?

    So funny--- I was just going to write a posting asking about them.

    What does everyone think?  They were recommended to me to do alterations to my gown.  The reviews online are really great-- or really bad.  There is no in between.

    Any experiences you ladies have had that you would like to share would be wonderful!

    I haven't had any alterations experience there, my mom had both my grandmother's wedding dress and first communion dress that all the aunts and cousins have worn cleaned/preserved there.  She had an excellent experience and from what she told me in talking with the owner, they have a lot of wedding gown experience and do well with different materials (lace, silk, etc).  I know that doesn't exactly help the alterations aspect, but that's all I got from her.

    Since Angie (the go-to seamstress in VA on this board) was already booked once I got my dress, I do have a lady in Manassas that I found through my cousin who has been AMAZING with my alterations.  Let me know if you'd like her info, or you could always start a post specifically about Imperial's alterations or other alterations recs.
