Thoughts on Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club

Hi there-

Has anyone had their wedding or been to a wedding at the Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club in Redondo Beach?  I am considering it for my reception site but am just a little concerned their two ballrooms are totally adjacent to each other.  Has anyone had issues with noise level overlapping in both rooms?  Also, any overall thoughts and feedback about the place would be great!  Thanks in advance!

    I've never been there for a wedding, although I did go to check it out when I was hunting for a reception place. Their view is so pretty at night and there was a wedding going on when I went; everything looked really pretty and the service looked like they were handling the wedding. They also giv eyou a suite that has ocean view and very very pretty! Too bad it was a little over my budget otherwise, I would have had the reception there. GL HTH

    i've been to quite a few events here and have never noticed a problem.
     ONE TIME however- with 2 particulary lively weddings, there was a lot of bouncing back and forth between the two. nobody seemed to mind though.
