Marriage License Check!

My first class was cancelled today so FI went and got our marriage license :) The courthouse is about 5 mins from campus so we figured why not now? Such a relief to have that done. It was a little intimidating though. We had to raise our right hands and swear that all the information we had provided was true. Made me kinda nervous...lol

    YAY!!!  I just got approved to leave early from work next Friday to go get ours!!  FI gets off work at 3:30 but I dont get off till 5...so we have it scheduled!!!  YAY!!!

    I got mine exactly 60 days before our wedding...but in Cook County (probably just in the city of Chicago) they seemed so lax about it!  They asked if we were related...but didn't even really care where our parents were born and we defiantly did NOT have to swear on anything that we were telling the truth. 

    Just a lady with bad fake nails smacking gum!  My kind of romance, I tell you what!

    It was kinda funny, FI still had his hand raised after they finished asking if we were going to tell the truth, so when they asked him his name and he still had his hand up they had to tell him he could put his hand down. 
    We got our license back in July because FI was home on a friday and I had already taken the day off work to take the cat to the vet.

    Hahaha. That's too funny.  My Fi says he felt bad because he hesitated for a moment because he suddenly forgot which hand was right and which was left....lol. My future husband, the genius.....hahahahaha

    We are getting ours a week from Tuesday. That is the first business day we will Florida. I am a little nervous because I have no idea how long it will take or even where the office is to get the license. Here in NY you jut head over to a town hall with all the paperwork and get it in seconds.
