That's the Harbor Manor, right? I've only been there for a wedding once and that was like 10yrs ago. I remember liking it but when I ran into that bride a few years later and mentioned the place she said she hated it, but didn't elaborate. Please keep in mind how long ago that was though, I think it's even changed owners since then.

Their ceremony had been out by the fountain and that was gorgeous.

Actually, I just remembered going to another wedding there in the downstairs room a few years after. I don't remember it being anything great but my ex was making things miserable, so it might have just been the day I was having.

I recently got engaged and visited Snug Harbor. It is beautiful and I got butterflies walking through the park. It depends on your budget. Some of the menu options I wasn't thrilled with and I wanted a little bit more. It was originally my first choice but since I have a lot of out of towners we went with the Hilton so they didn't have to drive around too much. They do a gorgeous ceremony in the Chinese Botanical Gardens...stunning. Good Luck.

I have not been to a wedding here, but I like to see what other events my wedding photographer is doing, and she JUST photographed one at Snug Harbor, which looks fantastic!

And check out her other wedding photography too - she was so easy to work with and reasonably priced for the amazing documentary-style photos she creates, I strongly recommend her: Sarah Tew.

    Good luck!

Hi, I went to my friend's wedding about two years ago, and the food was great! It's pretty there too. My sister also went to a wedding there about four years ago and thought it was really nice.

For the ceremony and the photos, Snug Harbor is fantastic. One of my top choices.

    Thanks Josie! Same to you.

We are definitly considering Snug Harbor for photos. You just have to get a park's permit to take the pictures if you are not doing your ceremony there.

I was curious so I did some digging, lol. It must have been taken over at some point, because this used to be the Harbor Manor. New ownership could only lead to a huge improvement. GL!

I went to a wedding there a few years ago and everything was gorgeous. The food was great too. The only thing I didn't like was the set up. The bride and groom were at one end of the room and couldn't see anyone on the other side nor could those people see them. It was almost like there were two separate weddings going on. But I don't know if they chose it that way or if that was the only way the room could be set. I had a great time though.
