NWR: What to get someone for their 40th Anniversary

Hi Ladies,
Fi and I are going to attend a Anniversary party next month. Its their 40th year together and I am not sure on what to get for them. They are going on a Cruise and think maybe something that they will use during their trip would be good. Besides that I have not Idea! Can you ladies help me out here!

    40th Anniversary gifts are tough because I believe that the traditional gift is a gemstone, ruby I think. When I threw my parent's sunrise 40th they got a lot of gift certificates for restaurants. I think that's a nice safe gift. GL!
