Bridal Shower Locations

Ok ladies, hopefully you can help me.  I am the maid of honor for my sisters wedding this summer in Kansas City, MO.  Currently I am looking for locations to hold a bridal shower that won't break my bank.  Not being from the Kansas City area I have no idea on where to have this bash and she is relatively new to KC as well.  Can you guys give me some ideas of places to look please?  There will be about 50 people in attendance.

    What kind of shower are you thinking of throwing?  And what part of the city?  My shower in Kansas City was at someone's house, but I recently attended one at Californo's in Westport.  I can't say if it was expensive, but it was lovely and the food was delicious.

    I've also recently been to a shower at Henry's Tearoom in Lee's Summit, and it was very good as well.  The BM told me they saved a lot of money by making a reservation for the group rather than renting out the whole space.

    Lydia's in the freight house district has a great space! Not sure about cost!

    Lydia's is VERY reasonable for lunch! That's where mine is being hosted. PM me if you want the info I got from their group dining coordinator
