Hair Salon / Make-up people

So on the day of my wedding, I want to go to a salon to get my hair washed, and done.  I am in need of a good Salon recommendation in the Ossining, Mt. Kisco, Bedford area in Westchester. 

Also, I called JK Flashy about Make up and she is 85 dollars for my bridesmaids to get their makeup done, and 250 dollars for me if I don't have at least 3 bridesmaids getting their make up done.  I think that's too much for bridesmaid's to pay honestly, but I want to give them the opportunity to get it done.  Therefore, I have two questions...
1.  Could I hire a second person to come in addition to JK flashy and do the bridesmaid's makeup for less?  Do you think that will clash with either JK flashy or someone else who I hire for me?
2.  Besides JK Flashy and Christine from Color Make up studio, are their any other well-known make up artists in the area?

    I would talk to Jill.  When I told her that I was unsure if my girls would pay that amount, she told me to let her know what their thoughts were.  She would rather do everyone's makeup and know that it came out right then have someone else do it.  To be honest, even though I thought for sure none of my girls would pay that, I ended up having 9 people get their's done, 2 of which decided that day when they saw how good everyone else's was coming out.

    I would talk to your girls and see who might be interested (don't forget your mom and FMIL).

    If that doesn't work, I would talk to the salon you end up choosing.  They may have makeup people on staff.

    I am using Mandy Liento for hair.  I am wearing a half -up/half- down style so she is actually going to do the prep for my hair prior to styling it at my house.  Also, for makeup I am using Jillyan Scarpa.  She's out of NJ but is traveling a hour to come to my house.  I found Jillyan Scarpa from Skin and Paint Bar.  She is wonderful!  She doesn't require a minimun.  Her trials cost $50 and the day of she charges $150.  I believe she charges $65 for bridesmaids (that includes airbrush and eyelashes).  Good luck! :)

    I'm using my salon but it is in White Plains. Salon Denzo. They also have a make up artist in house.

    I don't have anything to suggest, but you probably aren't able to hire another vendor for the same service. most wedding professional have a clause that says something like that in your contract. Granted "bridal make-up" is different from "bridesmaids make-up", but I would still check with the person doing your make-up to see if they will allow you to have another make-up person there.

    I didn't have a contract with either my make up artist or hair stylist but to be honest, I think it would be rude to have another makeup artist there while she was doing your makeup.

    I agree with a pp, call her and talk to her and tell her your thoughts.  I think my girls (not with her btw) paid $75....
