I'm really considering hiring a Day of just to make sure everything is going as planned and tighten up any loose ends. Do anyone have any recs for good affordable planners ? TIZ

    Yes! I absolutely loved Teri Malpass who owns Pearl & Peony Events. She was super professional and took care of all of the details the week of our wedding, and she created a custom package for me to meet my small budget. She is such a sweetie - you should see if she's available for your wedding.

    A lot of Knotties recommended Sally from Monarch but I contacted her and she wouldn't budge on pricing. The only day-of coordinators I found that were in my budget were Teri and Tara of Jour L'Amour (who was also really sweet when I met with her in-person).

    I am using Sally of http://www.monarch-planning.com - she came highly recommended to me. 
    I have been using her for more than Day of - she has been wonderful.  She is responsive, helpful and truly has been amazing.  I actually emailed some of her previous clients (she gave me their information) before I signed with her and ALL of them had glowing reviews.

    So far I don't have a single complaint. She has helped me find vendors and answered any question I had.

    What price range are they giving you ladies for the day of? Becuz my venue told me I must have one or else they will assign me one for $350. Do you guys think that is a reasonable price?

    I used Kelly from Eventology Weddings. I've heard great things About Sally. My cousin is using her.

    Sally at Monarch is the way to go.  "Lhiester" not sure why Sally wouldn't budge on pricing for you since I'm using her and she customized a package for my budget range.  You also see that on her website, she has a base package but can do a little more or little less than what is listed (so she can accomodate on budget range).

    Ditto....Sally is superb.  She has been an angel for me.

    Ask for her to work with your budget....I beleieve she can tailor to your needs.
