December Floridian Colors?

Hi everybody,
FI and I are wanting a festive, fun vibe for our wedding, and our ideal colors would be turquoise, lime, and khaki. However, we're also planning on a November or December 2011 wedding. My mom feels really strongly about us picking "winter colors."

My thinking is...there are no seasons in South Florida. There's "comfortable" and then there's "nauseatingly hot." IMO, it doesn't make sense to decorate according to season since there's no seasons down here. Would our color combo look out of place?

Those colors sound like they would go great together... Since December can be well hot most of the time I personally dont see anything wrong with it...plus its your wedding and since you can only do it once pick colors your ganna love.... its all a matter of personal opinion of corse and location.

I'm getting married nov 2011 and I'm not using winter colors. I'm using Blue and yellow. Florida doesn't really have a winter in my opinion and you can use pretty much any color
