This post is meant to help those with color or theme questions. Go ahead and PIP your wedding themes and colors to help those who need it!

We're going to be at a ski resort, and we can even ride the ski lift to the top for photos! Hopefully foliage here in NH will be awesome at the time, so the theme is of course deep red, sienna orange, with white and silver secondary, and hints of purple and yellow where applicable. I'm going with a mountain/apple/leaf theme. It's soooo NH haha, but we love the outdoors, and mountains, hiking, snowshoeing, and autumn the most.

We're also artists, so an art theme is a basic premise as well. We'll have some drawings representing who we are and what we love that we make, and have them hung up in the reception hall.

One idea I got was for centerpieces, to take some apples, take a tool I found on a registry site which lets you take out a tea light sized chunk of an apple (or other fruit) and put in a tea light candle! I said that it was a must. By the way, lemon juice on exposed apples helps keeping it from browning, but it will be covered by the candles anyway.

Our theme is rustic elegance and our colors are lapis, grey, and cream. The guys will be wearing dark grey suits, the flower girls are wearing grey dresses with a purple flower on the side, bridesmaids are lapis. We're doing a church wedding (antique church) and our reception is in a barn. We will have a bonfire with supplies for s'mores and a hog roast (with other options) for dinner. We will be decorating with purple linens, burlap runners, and silver charges. On the runner we will have distressed barn word (running parellel with the runner) and then the fiance will be making candlesticks and vases out of a sycamore tree along which will be placed on the board along with silver pilar candles and mason jars with a single flower type in each. At the head table and the cake table, we will have almost a table skirt out of purple toule (small farm scenes repeated over and over again) and the regular purple tablecloth will be gathered up at intervals with broches. We will have mirrors (which I've been collecting forever) hanging behind the head table. We will have three 10 in cakes all dirty iced with purple raffia around the bottom and stacked on Sycamore tree blocks at varying heights.

Our theme is romantic vintage. We are doing lots of candles, candle center pieces, tavern latern pieces on the cake and guest book table, and candles . We also have little details, like my brooch bouquet and drapery around the ceremony site. Our colors are navy and grey, we wanted the fall feel with a romantic twist.

Our theme is Bonnie & Clyde - 1920's. We are asking all those attending to also dress the part. My bridesmaids have flapper-esque dresses while the men will be in pinstripes and suspenders. Having fun with the theme, but still keeping it classy! Our colors are going to be black and white with peacock feather accents.

I am getting married Oct 12,12. My colors are plum and persimmion. The colors theme has been the hardest thing to decide.

Our song is Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World", and we both adore travel, so that's kind of become our theme - the table centerpieces I had envisioned are up in the air now that I've decided on this, but I'm hoping to represent different cities we want to visit someday (Paris, London, Prague, Athens, etc.) with flowers as well as the table card and maybe a trinket or two similar to this. I'm just so afraid having every table be different is going to look tacky, but I've got time to do research and play around with it.

Our colors are white & shades of royal/navy blue, with hints of silver and a (possibly) damask flavor.

Hey that's my wedding date too! At the moment, our colors are orange and white. (Yes, like a creamsicle)... we (*I*, since my guy isn't giving me any planning help in tis area) picked out jelly belly jelly beans as a favor... mnms are a little over done to me... I have no clue what the theme is, but our cake toppers are 2 hands doing the "I love you" sign (because we work in a grocery store together and when we pass each other at work we fash thesign at each other)

Our "theme" is Fall/vintage/barn/DIY all in one lol.

I didn't want to pick specific colors, but they will all be earthy colors. Browns, ivorys, reds, greens, oranges . . .

I dont think I have a "theme" for my wedding. Our colors are dark red/burgundy and burnt orange with gold as an accent. The wedding is outdoors with an indoor reception. It will be a semi-formal event. The reception area is pre-decorated in black and white, so we will be using small touches of color to bring together our color pallate.

WoW! These all sound so great! I'm noticing aLOT of Purple!

My FH and I are going with a more antique/traditional theme. Our colors are Black and Ivory, with gold accents. Since its fall, we are using Sunflowers for our main flower. The other thing that we are really focusing on, is my FH is 100% Ukrainian, so we have lots of Ukrainian music and traditions especially in the ceremony. Oh, and my dress is a brand new, Private Label dress with a lace applique overlay - and I LOVE IT!

I'm with some of the PP - most of our big stuff is all nailed down - the hall, the church, the dress, the band, the photographer/cinematographer, and as of Saturday, the flowers.

Our colors are Ivory, burnt orange, yellow, gold, burgundy and chocolate brown! Very fall-like - which is our theme and I could not be happier with our color choices

How freaky... I am doing a very similar theme @soon2brefron. Cobalt blue with mercury glass and a touch of masquerade since it will be the weekend before Halloween we marry. Are you mixing in any other colors for your bouquet to make flowers stand out? I was considering a rich violet.
