Cake

Does anyone know of a bakery in the Portland area that can do a cake for someone with allergies to tree nuts?  My nephew is allergic to nuts, and I want him to be able to have some cake @ my wedding, but he can't if it's made using equipment that also is used to make things with nuts.  Suggestions?

    IDK about bakeries.. I feel like that will be hard to find since I'd imagine they all use nuts in something.  Maybe have a special cup cake made for him (from his Mom who is use to cooking for him) or something?  Just an idea..

    A one-person operation could probably accommodate, since they would likely only making your cake that day, and they wouldn't have equipment so much as what you'd have in your regular kitchen. But I don't know the details of his allergies, so you'd probably have to ask around to see if people's setups would be okay.

    I like the mom idea too. Probably your safest bet.

    Give Two Fat Cats (on India Street) a call. I don't know much about them but they are a really small bakery and they always seem really nice.
