heat for June wedding?

I've officially booked COSI for my outdoor wedding on June 30th, and I'm really excited about it! But now I'm starting to freak out about the weather in late June, because we're having everything on their outdoor plaza area. Do you think it will be too hot to go without a tent for the  reception starting at 6pm? The sun should be setting behind the building, so everything should be in the shade, but if anyone has any words of wisdom, I'd love some! I don't think we want to go for the tent because of the extra $1500-$2000 I imagine it would cost us......(we are planing an indoor plan B, but if we have to use it, I think we are still charged for the outdoor space we wouldn't have used b/c of rain...but that's another story for another day!)

It really depends. I don't want to scare you or anything.

We were married in June and the it was pretty hot and sticky, but our venue was air conditioned with an outside patio/porch for people who wanted to be outside and/or smoke. The morning was rainy and cloudy and then the sun came out and it heated up.

I think that since you are having an evening wedding, you will be fine without the tents. If it is a warm day, it will still be warm at 6:30pm (or whenever your ceremony is over and the reception starts) but the sun will be starting to go down. Just make sure you have plenty of water and drinks on hand. I am sure your guests will know how to dress once they receive the invites.
