URGENT: School Bus Needed In Groton!

We had booked with First Student, but they have not cashed the check, refuse to sign a contract, and won't respond to phone calls - so I'm nervous that they simply won't show up this weekend when and where we need them to!

Anyone worked with them before?  Can you give me a specific contact person and phone number and/or email that might actually get a human being to speak with?

Anyone worked with another school bus company in the area?  We wanted something cheap and easy, but this is quickly becoming a source of stress!  We've been trying for over 2 weeks to get ahold of them.

    I've worked with Dattco and Constitution Coach. They both have a selection of transportation options available.

    Daatco just told us they do public transportation only and had no one to recommend.  I'll check out Constitution Coach, thanks!

    That's weird. I went to a wedding two months ago that used Dattco for transportation from the hotel to the reception and back.

    Maybe just during the summer? Not the school year?

    Or it was a different branch location.

    It wasn't an actual school bus. It was a white and red dattco bus, seated probably 50 - 60 people. Did you ask specifically for a school bus? I would think that any of their sales people would at least refer you to the right sales department!

    They have these buses, which are school bus like, but for adults (what I was told)

    Their number is 800.229.4879 and ours is $400, but for a smaller bus.

    FYI...First Student didn't cash my check until after my wedding either and I sent it 2 months before the wedding.  They were on time, followed by schedule and did as I asked.  I would just call to confirm with them, i always spoke with Nancy.

    Thanks that gives me a bit of piece of mind!  We wanted to ask them to start an hour earlier, but if they just show up at the time we requested, it will be fine - we'll figure it out.  As long as they come!

    Update:  my Mom finally reached them, and they were VERY nice and very apologetic.  They will be there when we need them, and are being very helpful.  It was just a case of needing to call a dozen or so times to reach someone!
