Flower question and concern

Hey Ladies!!

I am doing a mock with my florist for my centerpieces. I do have to pay for the mock since she does it out of her home and doesn't have the flowers readily available. So my question is, I should be able to keep the mock since I have to pay for the flowers, right?

Also, I have paid my photog in full, and they are very reputable, be they have been really sketchy about getting back to me lately. She did say she had a lot going on this month which is very understandable. But we are suppose to have a e shoot next saturday and she hasn't confirmed the time and etc... I have been emailing and calling and no response. Should I try to find someone else to do the e shoot or what? I am getting my makeup trial done that day as well so i figured it'd be a perfect day for the e shoot so i can see how the makeup will look in the photos. and its the day we are going out to celebrate VDAY. So I'm kinda set on doing pics that day? Would you all worry or would you just find another photog for the e shoot?

Thanks Ladies

I would say that heck yeah, that mock up should be yours. Why wouldn't it be?!

About the photog... I don't have any great advice. Sorry.

I would call and annoy the heck out of her along with texts and emails. You've paid her so she should let you know SOMETHING. Once you get the information you need and your session booked, let her know that communication is very important to you.

As for the flowers, you paid for the flowers, but probably not the vase. If not, they will either need to get the vase back when the flowers die...put the flowers inside one of those "thingies" to hold them in place inside the vase so they can be easily transferred, OR you can just purchase a similar or identical vase and take it for her to use to build the centerpiece.

Ditto everyone else.  I will have to say though that I kind of went through the same thing with my photographers before our engagement session.  Not only were they doing a bunch of winter weddings, but they just bought a house and were in the process of moving, so they were pretty swamped.  Even though I understood all of that, I still needed to know an exact time and I literally didn't get the time until the day before.  So with that being said, I wouldn't freak out and start looking for another photographer because that's putting more on your plate, but I would definitely continue to call/email/text/send a smoke signal/draw an SOS in the sand/light up the bat signal, etc. until they respond.  You said that they're very reputable so I'm sure that they're just busy.

I know I'm late, but I say you should keep the flowers.

As far as your photog, that's crazy & yes...I would be trippin too. Like others said, keep calling/ emailing/ texting...etc. By the way, do they have a studio? If so....go there as well.

    Good luck!
