Day of Wedding Coordinator

Looking for a Day of Wedding Coordinator to help set up the ceremony and reception site (same room), keep us on time, tell guest where to go, help clean up the site after the reception.  We are on a very tight budget; this person can just be getting into the business.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Day of Wedding Coordinator

  • NoLo Weddings & Events right now is running a promo for FREE day of coordinating as long as you let them take pictures and write them a review.  They are two women who are starting up their own company and are trying to bulk up their portfolio.  I came on this board just to post about it and when i saw your post thought it was fate!  I'm in Florida so I had my first "meeting" with them via Skype last night and Lorinda and Nora are sweethearts and seem like they will do an awesome job.  Even if not, at least you lost nothing on it.  Act fast though I don't know how long they will offer this.  Lorinda's email is lorinda@noloweddingsevents.com and I know they have a website.  Best of luck.
  • Voila events- Tyler Fitzhugh is fantasic. I'm using her for day of in September and she's already been so helpful.
  • A friend of mine was my DOC and did a great job. She does it part time and is starting out so I think she charges about $500. You can try emailing her at kyoony11@yahoo.com
  • I would be wary of anyone offering free day-of or any wedding service, but that is just my opinion.

Bright Occasions did a great job helping with my wedding planning and also start at $500 for day-of. The owner and her assistant work together on the day-of so you get two people.  They are offering a deal on wedding wire for the month of Jan too:

  • Back from my Wedding in DC.

    And I used......drumroll please!

    NoLo Weddings and Events.
    For free!
    Nora and Lorinda were awesome!
    They covered every detail.
We meet them on Sunday before and then the wedding was on Wednesday.
They showed up early, moved everything to reception site, organized everything, coordinated the ceremony at the Jefferson Memorial.  Then set up the cocktail hour and the reception room at Morrison House in Alexandria.

I can not begin to say how amazing they are.
    Check out their facebook!
There are already a few pics of our event.
  • I highly recommend Eye for Beauty Productions. She's an event planner who put together my friends wedding in 2 weeks! She's not free, but she literally works with any budget. eyeforbeautyproductions@gmail.com. Good luck hun!
