First fitting tomorrow! Opinions needed (Poll)

Hey everyone!  So I have my first fitting with my seamstress tomorrow.  When I got the dress in and tried it on the first time at the shop, It fit perfectly and all that was needed was to add a bustle.  (Let's hope it still fits!) Now that I'm about to go into my 1st fitting, I'm wondering if there are some things I should get.  I'm kind of thinking of changing the neckline to sweetheart neckline.  Right now it's more of a scoop neckline.  I'm thinking that a sweetheart might be nice but I'm not sure.

Also, I was originally planning on wearing my victoria's secret push up strapless bra to get some major lift.  I'm a low B - so not very big and i want a little bit of cleavage.  Haha.  Lately, I've been thinking of getting cups sewn in because strapless bras are pretty annoying, to be honest.  I don't want to have to keep pulling it up throughout the night.  I feel like if i don't wear a bra though, my boobs will look itty bitty in my dress and I won't get the lift I want.

Any thoughts?  What alterations do you think I should get done?

Here's a pic of me in my dress when I tried it on when it came in.

  • I love your dress as is but if you want some extra cleavage could you have the seamstress sew in cups with cutlets (or whatever they're called)? Just enough to give you a little boost. I personally don't like the look of actual sweetheart necklines but what about lowering the scoop a little? Kind of like a mock sweetheart or something?

Just tell your seamstress your concerns and I'm sure she can come up with some options for you.

  • I love your dress as is!! I would get cups sewn in just to avoid having to wear a bra!

  • I think that dress would be gorgeous with a sweetheart neckline. I'd also get cups sewn in. I tried to do a corset bra, but I just kept wanting to pull it up.

  • I really like the neckline on your dress. Also, I definitely recommend the cups! At my first fitting I tried on the dress without and then with the cups and it made a pretty big difference. My BM said it looked 100% better with the cups.

  • I've heard the sweetheart neckline adds visually for those of us with smaller cup sizes. BUT your dress is gorgeous, and gorgeous on you! I think I would go with sewn in cups and just enjoy not having to pay for or wear extra stuff!

  • Get the cups. I about the same cup size as you and I got padded cups put in mine. I am not planning on wearing a bra either. The cups give me a nice cleavage.

  • First off, you look gorgeous in your dress! It's really beautiful.  If you really want to show off some cleavage then go for the sweetheart neckline and add the cups. Actually, I just might do the same thing! :)
